ACTING HIGH COMMISSIONER RECEIVES TEAM FROM EDTECH SECTOR EXPLORING STRATEGIC COLLABORATION

A team from Schoolnet, an education technology and ICT company, met with the Acting High Commissioner, Mr. Ubong Akpan Johhny to explore possible areas of collaboration in digital education and innovation.

The team presented a device, KYAN, described as an integrated solution for educational and ICT needs. During their presentation, they shared that KYAN is designed to support curriculum development and educational programming, with the potential to adapt to different learning environments. The team further shared the role that digital infrastructure plays in curriculum delivery and touched on a few other broad themes, including capacity building and access to technology in education.

The High Commissioner acknowledged the interest shown and emphasized the importance of inclusive collaborations that align with the country's development priorities. The Schoolnet team graciously presented the High Commission with a complimentary KYAN device as a gesture of goodwill.
