PLUG N RIDE MOTORS UNVEILS ELECTRIC BIKE DESIGNED FOR THE AFRICAN MARKET

The High Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria hosted the launch of New Delhi-based electric vehicle manufacturer, Plug N Ride's latest motorbike. The motorbike is specifically engineered for the African terrain and market needs. With over 17 years of experience in the electric vehicle industry, Plug N Ride specializes in 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers.

The launch event, held at the High Commission premises in New Delhi was attended by the Acting High Commissioner, Mr. Ubong Akpan Johnny, High Commission officials, and representatives from Plug N Ride.

In his remarks, Mr. Ubong Johnny described the synergy between the High Commission and Plug N Ride as innovative. He congratulated the Plug N Ride representatives for their vision for green energy and sustainable mobility in emerging markets.

Mr. Zafar Equbal, Founder of Plug N Ride Motors, conveyed his appreciation to the High Commission officials and presented key features of the bike. The features included rugged design, high load capacity, and enhanced battery performance. The motorbike is particularly suited for urban mobility and rural access needs. He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting Nigeria's e-mobility goals and make electric mobility accessible, durable, and affordable for developing nations.
